Ideal for swimming or surfing as it is fully patrolled all year around. Parklands with walking paths, shaded picnic areas and children’s playground are just minutes away and adjacent to the beach. The headland close by is the Burleigh Heads National Park called “Jellurgal” by the Kombumerri People. This includes walking paths in the tree line above the rocks or up to the lookout for awe inspiring views of Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach or Coolangatta. On buses going north change at the terminus – (Pacific Fair), onto the tram for access to Broadbeach, Exhibition & Entertainment Centre, Jupiter’s Casino, Surfers Paradise and Southport or by shuttle bus to Harbour Town.
